„You don't see a good user experience, you feel it.“

A digital enthusiast

Hi! I'm Jörg, a designer from Germany. I was born in Hamburg and grew up near Frankfurt, where I currently live with my family. I have two children, a boy and a girl, and a wonderful wife. My passion for digital design was awakened with Flash 3 and 4 in the late 90s. While I was still at school, I started to create small animations and films in Flash format. In order to put these films on the Internet, I taught myself HTML and CSS and built my first websites. Back then with nested table layouts, later of course with CSS. During this time I used a lot Dreamwaever, Flash and Fireworks, at that time still Macromedia and no Adobe products. Through my training as a media designer at the Fraunhofer Institute for Graphic Data Processing (IGD), my interest in technology and future technology increased even more. In the meantime, I have worked for various digital agencies for several years. During this time I have accompanied both smaller image campaigns and complete e-commerce projects in both the B2B and B2C sectors. Very early on, I dealt with the theme of responsive web design for different devices and that's why my colleagues gave me the title "Responsive Jörg". As a designer, I enjoy working collaboratively and my technical understanding allows me to work effectively with developers and product managers. I am currently working as a user experience designer on the company side in the area of software development.
